Food was wonderful and service was great. It's expensive but for a special occasion it can't be beat.
This is a very nice place to eat. We are in town on business and glad we were told that this was a place we should try we are glad we did!
I really enjoyed the Grilled New Zealand Rack of Lamb. It was perfectly cooked, and expertly seasoned with fresh herbs from the property. Unfortunately, they had just come back from vacation, so the 31 day aged steaks and Tiramisu were not available, but I'll come back to try those some time.
Service was unbelievably slow. Took over an hour and a half and meal was not even severed yet. Food over priced for what it was.
I have been here a lot and every time the food is absolutely amazing. The chef uses very fresh ingredients that they grow when possible. The staff is always very nice. There is a very relaxed atmosphere and I suggest if you plan on going, you plan your night around it. The food doesn't always come out quickly but honestly I've never found that to be a problem. It gives me the chance to sit and talk with my company and enjoy the atmosphere! Their outside area is beautiful and I have always sat out there. The staff also doesn't rush you out so I have been there for hours before, just enjoying everything the place has to offer. I highly recommend Savannah's.
