Normally a great place to eat, but today I waited 50 minutes for my food, which I never received, so I got up and told my waitress I was leaving. She apologized, but I was hungry and didn't want to wait.
This restaurant is conveniently located in the center of Downtown Huntington! I really liked this restaurant in the past but as of today my mind has been changed. The soup I ordered was cold and did not really have a taste. The waitress served my food before anyone else knowing it was my main dish. The food quality was just poor. I can confidently say hospital food is more appealing.
This particular location burnt their bacon so it had a char taste. The over easy eggs were cooked perfectly, hash browns we're ok, biscuits and gravy we're pretty good. If I'm back in the area I'll avoid the bacon and get sausage next time. Not bad. I would definitely avoid the coffee. I had to put in a ton of cream and sugar in it to make it taste ok. Otherwise, it tasted like it has been in the pot on the burner too long.
Online order today...appreciated the girls help with napkins/plates/utensils since we were taking food to the park. I asked for extra salad dressing and good thing I did because that was the only dressing we got. I was also shorted the coleslaw I ordered with our pot roast sliders. Food was good but guess you need to check order before leaving the store. Too expensive to pay for items you didn't get and I don't want items now the meal is over. Better luck next time.
LOVE the food here. The Border Scramble omelet meal was AMAZING!
