Mitsubishi service never has parts. VW service tries to trick you into an "upsale". Oil additive for $50. Injector cleaner for $120. Intake valve cleaner $120. This is all BS.
The employee said, "We don't give written appraisals." Which is entirely not true since I called and made sure they gave written appraisals before making the 45 minute drive as well as made sure that a written appraisal would be available after allowing the Honda employee to drive my car.
The best car buying experience I've ever had.
Dave Larch came out and asked what the issue was.
He returned in approximately 5 minutes and that is when I asked for my written appraisal... which is where things turned completely unprofessional.
He stated that, "We just don't do that [written appraisals] here."
If giving a negative rating was possible, that would be the appropriate rating.
I have been to several dealerships and never once have I been treated so poorly and with such disrespect.
NOT a good experience . Talked to a salesman (Kurt) in November telling him of my intention to buy a vehicle. Never heard anything from him. Went there and picked out a vehicle for my wife. Called early the next day to say when we would be there. He didn't show and they couldn't find the vehicle. Never called to apologize or make any other offers. I called next morning at opening to give them another chance and they just sold it. I would NOT recommend doing business there.
Little did I know, that all of the employees at Moses Honda are unprofessional and dishonest.
I will be sure to report this incident directly to Honda's corporate office, because I do not want anyone else to have to deal with these employees and waste their time.
Not only did Dave Larch not try to remedy the situation or even help in the slightest, he made the situation 100 times worst.
I was assigned another sales representative that looked at the car, asked some questions about why I wanted to sell, etc.
The employee said that was not a problem and then took my car for a test drive.
I explained the situation and how I had just made a 45 minute drive for a written appraisal, I made it clear that is what I was in need of at my arrival, before his employee drove my car and now his employee was lying by stating that Honda does not give written appraisals.
He continued to ask, "Why do you need a written appraisal? I can tell you what your car is worth. If you want it written down I can write it on a post it note. We aren't going to give an appraisal on a car we aren't interested in buying. I deal with appraisals all the time and very seldom does anyone ask for a written apprasial."
I was informed over the phone by Travis Nap that Dave Larch was in charge of appraisals and a written appraisal was not an issue.
I arrived approximately 45 minutes later with my vehicle only to be told Dave Larch was with another customer and could not assist me.
I informed the employee, before he even looked at the car, that I was interested in a written appraisal in order to make a decision on whether or not I wanted to sell or trade it in.
He was not helpful at all and continued to lie about the services that Honda offered, which is when I requested Dave Larch, who I was supposed to be assisted by in the beginning.
I was interested in selling my 2009 Acura TL. I called prior to making the 45 minute drive, in order to double check that the dealership was able to give written appraisals for vehicles.
I don't know what type of business is being run at Moses Honda, but if business is being done on post it notes, then Honda needs to hire new employees.
Best experience buying a car! They were helpful and did everything they could to get me in a vehicle. I'll definitely buy all my cars from there in the future. It was just me and they didn't talk to me like I was an idiot, they didn't call me "sweet heart" or "darling" (had that happen at a previous dealership) but they were all around fantastic.
As soon as the employee looked at the car and then the mileage he informed me that he would not be interested in buying the car because of high mileage, which was not an issue because I was interested in a written appraisal more than anything, which I told him.
